[POLL] Your Favorite Weapons to RP

I'm sure there's something to be said about who you are based on what weapon you prefer to RP with, but I won't dare begin to speculate on that here. Feel free to do so yourselves in the thread, however!

From fantasy to science fiction, our RP worlds often involve combat of some kind. What are your favorite weapons to RP the use of? Why?

As usual, stupid reality isn't black and white, so there is some overlap with these answers. You can pick as many as you want but try to stick with your absolute favorites.

I feel like LARPers may have more to say about this than the rest of us, since LARPing with a weapon requires at least some kind of familiarity with it. That said, written forms of RP are often a lot more enjoyable if you can present your combat in a believable way, requiring some knowledge.
