Welcome welcome welcome! Welcome back ladies and gents! For episode 20 I decided to have someone that roleplays an ethnic bosmer. By ethnic I mean someone whose had experience primarily roleplaying bosmer from Valenwood. I don't really know much about the bosmer as a race and I realized that I've only ever interviewed one person that's had a bosmer on this show. So I sought to rectify that and broaden my horizons on this race in Elder Scrolls. ES Spotlight - Episode 19 - [Sabriel7]

After two months of nothingness, I think it's safe to say that it's good to be back ladies and gents! While I admit I did want to do something different once again, I realized it was probably best that I return to form and interview an RP from ESO. The reason being is that it has been awhile and I can't stray too much from the original focus of the podcast. Yet at the same time, I still had to do something different. So I looked around and found someone who I felt did things juuuuust a little bit differently. One of the great things about this podcast is that I get to different moralities that different characters possess. However with the exception of 2 people, I realize I never interviewed someone who played an "evil" character. Unlike the aforementioned 2, I realized I never interviewed anyone that played an evil character as their main. So I found someone, we got to talking, and she graciously agreed to join me for today's episode. I had a nice time listening to her, and I hope you will too. ES Spotlight - Episode 18 [Zorkonov of Imperial Knowledge]

Well hello there ladies and gentlemen! It's that time again. Yes, it is new-episode-time! In this episode I decided to do things juuuust a little bit different. I think we can all agree that as roleplayers, lore is quite important to us. From learning about how Mundus was created to the sacking of Saarthal, it helps us shape our decisions in character creation and in roleplaying within ESO itself. After all, lore gives us context and we need context if we are to make IC/OOC decisions within ESO roleplay. Thus, I decided to interview Zorkonov, creator of the Imperial Knowledge channel here on YouTube. I first started watching him when I was getting into Elder Scrolls roleplay myself, and his lore videos helped me to understand a lot of material. Zork works hard to comb through the lore and create content that delivers digestible chunks for people consume. He's quite dedicated to his work and it certainly comes across in the conversation we have. We talk about Elder Scrolls lore, YouTube, and his work. So while it isn't directly roleplay related this time around, I still hope that you guys enjoy this episode nevertheless folks! ...even if we do spend a lot of time rambling...

ES Spotlight - Episode 17 [Morriel]

What's this? A new episode? You bet your sweet bippy it is! Ladies and gents its Your Friendly Neighborhood Commentator coming at you with another episode of the good stuff! Tonight we have Morriel joining us for a wonderful conversation where we cover how she got into roleplay, how she incidentally was apart of the same Neopets forums TheHumanFloyd was on, and her characters in Elder Scrolls Online. Due to her extensive experience in the subject, I also got to talk to her about her views on Vampirism RP and my gripes with it. I will always say that my views expressed here are strictly my own and cannot stress that is in no way reflective of that of the channel's. I also stress that conversation on this subject is always: to challenge my own opinion. I firmly believe that challenging what you know and seeking the objective truth is a hallmark of open-mindedness. So I cannot thank Morriel enough for indulging me in that part of the conversation. ES Spotlight - Episode 16 [Rokthor Shattershield]

Hey there guys! This is Your Friendly Neighorhood Commentator coming at you with another episode. This time I talk to a true, blue Skyrim Nord. Now for transparency's sake, I'll admit that Rok and I are guildies. You see after having a conversation with Sarinteal way back in episode 14 about his character and the Altmer, I wanted to go ahead and look at the opposites to the Altmer. In my mind, the Nords are antithetical to the Altmer and I couldn't think of anyone that RPs hardy Nord like Rokthor. Thus we had this conversation! On the plus side, you are looking at a COLOSSAL episode. Our longest one to date, clocking in at 4 hours! So once again, I've decided to split the episodes up into 2 parts and release them both simultaneously for your pleasure. Hope you all enjoy this one, I had a lot of fun with it!

ES Spotlight - Episode 15 [GangzyGirl]

Welcome to our 15th episode ladies and gents! Tonight I wanted to speak to a Dunmer roleplayer and get her story. She plays a Hlaalu businessman by the name of Vytalas Hlaalu, a Telvanni by the name of Dinya, and one-half of the Ashlander twins, Hasiran Zahuulu. Listening to how she got into Roleplay and Elder Scrolls brought a smile to my face. The reason being is that I had a similar experience in how I was introduced to the concept of RP. Though we couldn't grab the amount of time and effort that went into the 3-4 years of RP in ESO, we were able to grab a few "snapshots" if you will. Discussions about specific instances that give us a better view of the broader picture of Gangzygirl's experiences on ESO. Prompt and elaborate, it was a pleasure to have a chat with her. ES Spotlight - Episode 14 [Sarinteal]

Dear viewers it's good to be back! I didn't anticipate a 2-month hiatus, but I'm happy to say I am back. And in an effort to make it up to you all, I bring a YUGE episode this time around! So YUGE that it ended having to be split into two parts. In this episode, I got to speak with an Altmer roleplayer. I'll be the first to admit that the Altmer are my least favorite race. Not because of any negative traits, nothing like that. But because the concept and lore surrounding them seems complicated an alien to me. So in an effort to try and understand the Altmer, I reached out to our guest in hopes of learning. Needless to say we ended up having hours upon hours of conversation. The most stimulating part was exploring ideas and going back and forth about the Summerset expansion (it was a week since it's launch at the time of this recording). Not only did I get to know Sarin as a person, I also was educated in this episode. Sarin, if you're reading this: A thousand thank-yous for the conversation. I sincerely enjoyed it!

ES Spotlight - Episode 13 - [GrumpyVivec]

I usually interview roleplayers on Elder Scrolls Online. However, I'd be remiss not to have a conversation with this gentleman, scholar, and artist. Renown for his art-commissions, this man has helped many roleplayers of Elder Scrolls Online, World of Warcraft, Guild Wars 2, Star Wars: The Old Republic (and many more MMOs) give form to their ideas. I never had a conversation with a freelance artist before so I had to satiate my curiosity by speaking to the man. What's his workday like? What does he like to draw? It's rarer still that we share many commonalities. But you see that alot in this episode with tonight's guest, TheTookyBird. She has even written a guide to the obscurity of Wyress lore (to be found below) as well as a few journal entries that showcase how in-depth her characters are. Interestingly enough, she was also one of the first people to help start RPHQ. A fact that I did not learn about until after the interview. Funny how some things tend to go around full circle. ES Spotlight - Episode 10 [DerAlleinTiger]

What's that you say? Episode 10? Yes! We have made it to Episode 10. Boy am I glad that we have made it this far and we couldn't have done it without you lovely folks. With that being said, today we have DerAlleinTiger with us tonight. This gentleman was kind enough to indulge me in what made his character tick, what his character had gone through, and his journey in the game from someone randomly passing by a bunch of RPers to leading a few RP guilds himself. We talk a bit about history (I'm sure you guys still love chats about history) a little bit about books, and a little bit about writing. ES Spotlight - Episode 9 [Tyrrean Vanarius]

Ladies, gentlemen, Apache helicopters, and mudkipz! Today you're in for a conversation with a gentleman from the UK. That's right folks we have Tyrrean with us tonight. Best known for playing his imperial, Tyrrean Vanarius of the Vanarii clan and the Centurion of the now-defunct Centuria Vindicta. His story is an interesting one as he started out as just a member of that guild and eventually climbed through the ranks to become it's GM. He's a man after my own heart as we both share a love history. So in addition to learning about his character and diving into differences between the NA and EU communities, we also nerd out a bit over Roman generals and Emperors. I definitely had fun with this conversation and I hope you do too!

Welcome welcome welcome! Welcome to the sixth episode of Elder Scrolls Spotlight! For this episode, we will be crossing the Atlantic Ocean to be speaking with a Roleplayer from the EU server. ES Spotlight - Episode 3 [Ashen Phoenix of RPMMORadio]

For today's episode we'll be interviewing Ashen Phoenix from the RPMMO Radio podcasting team. A podcast held bi-weekly on Saturdays by Ashen Phoenix, Sib, and Jaz.
